Upper Deck Celebrates Hello Kitty’s 40th Anniversary with New Line of Exclusive Products

Upper Deck’s Hello Kitty 40th Anniversary product line to include Carry All Case, Trading Card Deluxe Fun Packs and Blister Packs celebrating the pop icon through the decades – 1970s, 1980s, 1990s and 2000s.

CARLSBAD, Ca. (October 01, 2014) – In celebration of Hello Kitty’s 40th Anniversary, Upper Deck is releasing a new line of cards and collectibles that celebrate Hello Kitty over the last 4 decades. Product offerings include Trading Card Fun Packs, Blister Packs and a Carry All Case.

The Hello Kitty 40th Anniversary trading card packs feature elements such as sticker scene cards, texture cards, foil cards and Hello Kitty mini-figures. Many of the cards offer Hello Kitty fun facts and trivia questions, as well as interactive play components that allow collectors to build puzzles and create a complete timeline out of the cards.

Each Hello Kitty 40th Anniversary Trading Card Fun Pack contains one mini-figure, two regular trading cards, two sticker scene cards, one die-cut card, one foil card, one texture card, and one checklist booklet. The Deluxe Fun Pack contains two mini-figures, four regular trading cards, four sticker scene cards, one die-cut card, one foil card, one texture card, and one checklist booklet.

The Carry All Case is a clear Hello Kitty tote that includes a bonus mini-collector album and timeline poster, along with two Hello Kitty mini-figures, four sticker scene cards, two die-cut cards, two foil cards, two texture cards, four regular trading cards and two checklist booklets.

Upper Deck’s full collection of Hello Kitty 40th Anniversary products, including all 25 Hello Kitty mini-figures, will be on display at Hello Kitty Con 2014. The event will take place at The Geffen Contemporary at MOCA (The Museum of Contemporary Art) in downtown Los Angeles from October 30-November 2. Upper Deck will have a full line of Hello Kitty products for sale at Hello Kitty Con 2014, including a limited quantity of uncut Hello Kitty 40th Anniversary texture card sheets and four exclusive mini-figure bundles.
