UPPER DECK RELEASES DARK CITY, THE FIRST EXPANSION TO LEGENDARY™, A MARVEL DECK BUILDING GAME

Carlsbad, CA (June 20, 2013) – Given the great success of Legendary™: A Marvel Deck Building Game, Upper Deck Entertainment is pleased to announce the release of Dark City, the game’s first expansion set. Dark City will add more variety to the gaming experience and will include 17 new heroes, six new villain groups, two new henchmen groups, five new masterminds, and new game twisting schemes!

The Dark City expansion set will now allow gamers to play with over 850 cards and four new pieces of art for each hero are sure to be a hit with gamers. Dark City still offers the highly popular Heroes against Mastermind theme from the core set and includes new game mechanics with a much darker tone. Dark City includes some of the most recognizable heroes and villains from the Marvel universe including Apocalypse, Mr. Sinister, The Punisher and Nightcrawler!

Marvel fans can find the Dark City expansion set in stores now! The expansion set features 350 new playing cards and has a suggested retail price of $39.99. Die-hard fans scored their Dark City expansion early through a special pre-release promotion at the Origins Game Fair in Columbus, Ohio last week.
